The client purchased their own copper (Acer) tree and asked us to devise a water feature with a rill that would be a bold statement in their front garden.

Clients preferred choice of material - Travertine tile, rather 'in vogue' material for 2010.

The feature was excavated and constructed in the same way that a swimming pool would be built. Concrete walls and foundations and all the electrical cables for lighting and pumps totally invisible, when one was to look into the crystal clear water, needed to see the tiled interior of the feature.

Lighting was to be a key element to this construction with all moving water to be illuminated during the hours of darkness. A welcoming site on dark evenings on the approach up the driveway.

The rest of the garden was will be finished at a later date when the clients finances allow.
